Here is an end of year report from Presente Rurales Escuelas on the progress of the Student University Residential in Villa Atamisque, Santiago del Estero and what it means to the 20 young students who will be accommodated here.
English Translation
"First of all, I want to thank you infinitely for joining us once again in this charity journey, with the sole purpose of providing opportunities for our most neglected young people of Monte Santiagueño.
Young people who did not have the opportunity of a good diet, of a good life, to choose a different future; children of parents who could never choose anything.
For 17 years I knew this terrible reality in which I decided to get involved every day, and so I met the people of my beloved Santiago del Estero, so forgotten, so suffered, with so many needs, that make me think about what to do ? How to offer them opportunities to study, to change their future, providing them with tools.
Every time I arrive at a small ranch in the middle of the mountain, while chatting with people it is impossible for me not to look around and imagine how different my life would be if I had been born there, how hard life is for many, and how easy it is for others.
See the difficulties of distances, lack of resources, the lack of many, but so many things that makes it impossible not to get involved and feel so lonely and forgotten in that huge Monte Santiagueño. Young people who dream of studying, faced with so many adversities, see the sacrifice they make daily, they make a lump in the throat.
We currently have 20 young scholars, of which none stop studying, see the enormous sacrifice they make daily, faced with so many difficulties to finish their studies, it is incredible.
The construction of the University Hostel in Villa Atamisqui, will provide the opportunity for many young people of Monte Santiagueño to study, to shorten distances, to feel content, accompanied, integrated, and just meters from the place of study.
The place will function as a hostel from Monday to Friday, and on weekends it will open its doors to provide the opportunity to access courses with work opportunities to many young people who for different situations could not or did not want to study, but do want to learn trades and not only have the option to go to work to the crops.
Also be able to provide talks, training for women, sexual education, gender violence, and several workshops that arise, the idea is to bring from Buenos Aires Teachers, some payments, others voluntarily without sweating will be offered, to to be able to achieve this great change in new generations of young people, who will have the opportunity to access a lot of information, and training that will provide them with new tools for their futures.
Always all these types of courses will be free, (somehow we will achieve it, I have no doubt).
With respect to the Construction we are already roofing, which is a huge joy for us.
As soon as we have the photo, I send it to you to share. It is a great joy to see the finished work, which with so much effort we are all making real.
As you know this year we carried out a great Medical-odontological Campaign for several days in 4 places of Santiago del Estero, we managed to arm in each place a large hospital, with all the necessary: Laboratory of biochemical analysis, whose results were delivered within a few hours, wide pharmacy, three clinicians, paediatric doctors, 10 dentists who made highly complex restorations even in the middle of the mountain.
I do not mind not having light, because with the generator we managed to make everything impeccable.
200 people were attended daily, daily, which traveled up to 30km to get to be seen by doctors.
See the oblivion in which they live, they make you squeeze your soul, it hurts to see situations, cases of simple treatment, derive in lifelong disabilities, you feel oblivion, laziness in the first person. All these situations lead to to commit even more and redouble the work for the Next year.
Attempting to buy portable electrocardiogram, portable ultrasound equipment,
Perform more biochemical determinations, get volunteers in other specialties such as cardiology, and ophthalmology.
Always working for new projects for the good of the people who live forgotten.
As projects will always see, dreams are always many, like the desire to fight for a better Argentina, where there is not so much inequality, where everyone has the same opportunities. I always dream that, and until my last day I will work to achieve from my place change something with so many people who work for a better world, because we know that the only way to transform reality is by getting involved, learning to see the different realities.
I thank life for the possibility of having people like you, who accompany each Project and make thousands of dreams possible to many young people who did not even dare to dream.
There is a lot, a lot to do, I sincerely hope to continue supporting our Project to finish the University Student Residential College in Villa Atamisqui, Santiago del Estero.

Ante todo quiero agradecerles infinitamente por acompañarnos una vez más en este camino solidario, con el único fin de brindar oportunidades a nuestros jóvenes más postergados del Monte Santiagueño.
Jóvenes que no tuvieron la oportunidad de una buena alimentación, de una buena vida, elegir un futuro distinto; hijos de padres que nunca pudieron elegir nada.
Desde hace 17 años conocí esta terrible realidad en la cual decidí involucrarme día a día, y así fui conociendo la gente de mi querido Santiago del estero, tan olvidado, tan sufrido, con tantas pero tantas necesidades, que me llevan a pensar siempre que hacer? Como brindarles oportunidades de poder estudiar, de cambiar su futuro, brindándoles herramientas.
Cada vez que llego a un ranchito en el medio del monte, mientras charlo con la gente me es imposible no mirar a mi alrededor e imaginarme que distinta seria mi vida si hubiera nacido allí , que dura es la vida para muchos, y que fácil para otros.
Ver las dificultades de las distancias, la falta de recursos, la falta de tantas, pero tantas cosas que hace imposible no involucrarse y sentirlos tan solos y olvidados en ese enorme Monte Santiagueño. Jóvenes que sueñan con estudiar, ante tantas adversidades, ver el sacrificio que realizan a diario, hacen sentir un nudo en la garganta.
Actualmente tenemos 20 jóvenes becados, de los cuales ninguno dejo de estudiar, ver el enorme sacrificio que hacen a diario, ante tantas dificultades por terminar sus estudios, es increíble.
La Construcción del Albergue Universitario en Villa Atamisqui, brindara la oportunidad a muchos jóvenes del Monte Santiagueño de estudiar, de acortar distancias, de sentirse contenidos, acompañados, integrados, y a tan solo metros del lugar de estudio.
Lugar que funcionara como Albergue de lunes a viernes, y los fines de semana abrirá sus puertas a brindar la oportunidad de poder acceder a cursos con salida laboral a muchos jóvenes que por distintas situaciones no pudieron o no quisieron estudiar ,pero sí desean aprender oficios y no solo tener como opción ir a trabajar a las cosechas.
También poder brindar charlas, capacitaciones para las mujeres, sobre educación sexual, violencia de género, y varios talleres que vayan surgiendo, la idea es poder llevar desde Buenos Aires Profesores, algunos pagos, otros de manera voluntaria que sin suda se irán ofreciendo, para poder logar este gran cambio en nuevas generaciones de jóvenes, quienes tendrán la oportunidad de acceder a mucha información, y capacitaciones que les brindaran así nuevas herramientas para sus futuros.
Siempre todos estos tipos de cursos serán en forma gratuita,(de alguna manera lograremos concretarlo, no tengo la menor duda).
Con respecto a la Construcción ya estamos techando, lo cual es una alegría enorme para nosotros.
Ni bien tengamos la foto se las hago llegar para compartir está gran alegría de ver el trabajo concluido, que con tanto esfuerzo entre todos estamos haciendo realidad.
Como saben este año realizamos una gran Campaña Medica-odontológica durante varios días en 4 parajes de Santiago del Estero, logramos armar en cada lugar un gran hospital, con todo lo necesario: Laboratorio de análisis bioquímicos, cuyos resultados eran entregados a las pocas horas, amplia farmacia, tres médicos clínicos, médicos pediatras, 10 odontólogos quienes realizaron restauraciones de alta complejidad aun en el medio del monte.
No importo no tener luz, ya que con el generador logramos que funcionara todo impecable.
Se atendieron por día 200 personas, diariamente, las cuales recorrieron hasta 30km para llegar a poder atenderse con los médicos.
Ver el olvido en el que viven, hacen que a uno se le estruje el alma, duele ver situaciones, casos de simple tratamiento, deriven en discapacidades de por vida, se siente el olvido, la desidia en primera persona .Todas estas situaciones llevan a comprometerse aún más y redoblar el trabajo para el Próximo año.
Procurando comprar electrocardiograma portátil, equipo de ecografía portátil,
Realizar más determinaciones bioquímicas, conseguir voluntarios en otras especialidades como cardiológicas, y oftalmológicas.
Siempre trabajando por nuevos proyectos por el bien de la gente que vive olvidados Monte adentro.
Como verán siempre los proyectos, sueños siempre son muchos, como las ganas de luchar por una Argentina mejor, donde no haya tanta desigualdad, donde todos tengan las mismas oportunidades. Sueño siempre eso, y hasta mi último día trabajare por lograr desde mi lugar cambiar algo junto a tanta gente que trabaja por un mundo mejor, porque sabemos que la única manera de Transformar la realidad es involucrándonos, aprendiendo a ver las distintas realidades.
Agradezco a la vida la posibilidad de contar con gente como ustedes, quienes acompañan cada Proyecto y hacen posible miles de sueños a muchos jóvenes que ni siquiera se atrevían a soñar.
Hay mucho, mucho por hacer, espero de corazón sigan apoyando nuestro Proyecto de terminar el Albergue Universitario en villa atamisqui Santiago del estero.
Les hago llegar un abrazo muy muy fuerte a cada uno de ustedes, y decirles un Gracias enormes en nombre de cada uno de los Jóvenes que gracias a ustedes tendrán una posibilidad de cambiar su futuro por medio de la Educación,
